This year we have worked to build a program that is designed not only to inform our audience of current Department of Defense Chief Information Officer (DoD CIO) strategies and direction, but to provide an industry perspective on leveraging the power of architecture in enterprise management and transformation. We are also pleased to have USCENTCOM as our Host Command, providing an opportunity to gain insight into the current efforts of one of the Department's major commands.

From my perspective, the success of this year's conference will be measured not only by how effectively we deliver important information to you, but by the actions that my staff and I take away to work over the next year. As members of our Community of Practice, you are key stakeholders in defining where we focus our attention and resources as we work to continuously improve the practice of architecture in DoD.
